Pete
Paspalovski is a versatile artist with experience in large
scale Murals, Graphics and Illustration. With over 10 years
of experience in painting eastern orthodox murals and panels,
his work can be seen in churches throughout the US. He
developed a unique style of iconography that features vibrant
colors and original compositions, while still adhering
to the strict guidelines of the Byzantine style. Although
he still paints murals when called upon, in most recent
years his work has focused on graphic design and illustration.
On the Graphic side, he has worked with National and International
clients involving full scale package design, ad and web
design, corporate identity, etc. This involves everything
from creative conception to finished product, including
art direction, graphic design, illustration, and on-location
and
studio direction of photo shoots.
His work in Illustration has produced a warm, dramatic and
detailed style which has been published in both local and
national publications. When time permits, Pete enjoys working
on contemporary paintings which have been displayed in various
galleries in California, New York City and Ohio. Various
pieces have been sold to private collections, including some
to Europe.
In
September 2007, Paspalovski's The “Pirate
Captain" won a Platinum level national award with
The 37th Creativity Annual. Paspalovski’s
Pirate Painting also won 1st Place in the Northern Ohio
Illustrators Society Show.
